Not really following the news recently, but I have heard about the tensions and on-and-off riots in Urmqi, from my friends and families there.

Any Wigger here? I guess most are Han. Quite interested in how you think.

Two mistakes in the title:

1, This is a terrorist attack, not a RIOT, confirmed by the way the Hans were killed. Trained killers waged a well planned massscre. How many people were killed in several hours? 150! not 10 or 15, imagine how can you kill such a lot of people who are free to run around in one hour without a plan.

2, Tolerance. There is and will be no tolerance for the terrorism, whether it diguises as a rebellion or a counter-balance.

Beside, the US is the de facto spensor of Kadeer. No question about it. If you want to know the truth, ask the conservatives in the White House.

Remember, all human beings are equal,  none was born as a terorist. Every baby was the same and innocent.

Thus the questions are why and how some people run to the opposit side of the society, how they lost their humanity.

Both Uygurs and Hans are suffering the social pressure of fast developing economy. Peasants, especially those uneducated were pushed the society margin. For Uygurs, situation is worsened by language obstacles. Han peasants can still get chance to work as "Nong Min Gong".

In such a situation, Uygurs turned to be fertile soil of terrorism. They are muslims, have close border to Afganstan, Pakistan. It is no doubt torrorism occours, sooner or later.

towards your first point, i would say yes in technical aspect. theoritically this equality is not an undoubtable concept. but its so deeply confusing that  i would like to drop this question.
what i am wondering is the connection you suggested about muslims and uighur terrorists. what did you mean with "They are muslims, have close border to Afganstan, Pakistan. It is no doubt torrorism occours, sooner or later."  it is dangerous to identify muslims with terrorists. plus, being close to those unstable country is not a necessary condition for terrorism.
btw seems there is contradiction in your own statements.

The point is, we should compare Uygurs and Hans' behaviors in the similar situation.

Facing life difficulies, everyone will automatically think about solutions, they want hope for future. Hans make efforts to get job as "NongMinGong" in big cities. But Uygurs, everyone knows what they are doing in cities. Their reputation were already destroyed.

I am not defining muslims as terrorists, but Uygurs share the same religion with neighbors, who are recently uder anti-terrorrist war. Thus uygurs are more likely to be influenced.
