1. Why do you apply for visa?
-- For business trip. I'm going to visit the headquarter. (I had invitation letter from the headquarter last year. It said "business trip" instead of "conference". And I think it will be the same this time.)
I think it's fine. You need show him the invitation letter.
2. Will you go back Germany?
-- Sure. (Should I take my job-contract, salary-sheets and appartment-rental with me?)
It would be good if you can take the job contract etc.. Explain a little bit more instead of giving a short answer "sure", e.g. I have stable job, blah blah...
3. Briefly describe your work that you are going to present in the conference.
(I don't think there will be such a question, since I tell hime/her that I will be on business trip in USA. In case the question comes
-- I will attend a one-week conference in October, in which the newest IT technologies in different areas will be introduced, such as Java, Solaris, open source and open technology.(估计签证官被我这一句话就能给坎晕喽,他们哪里知道行业内的事情啊?) Furthermore, I will visit the headquater and have meetings there.
Sometimes, they just want to see if you can answer even if they cannot understand. :)
You may need prepare more questions such as, "how long will you stay in USA?" "Have you been in USA before? when?" "Why did you come to USA last year", etc. You may ask your friend who attended the conference with you last year about the questions they asked last time. If they ask you questions that you have not prepared, do not be panic. Be confident when you answer the questions. It does not matter if you make gramatical errors as long as they can understand what you said. If you cannot understand the questions they ask, ask them to repeat the questions (but dont do it frequently).
Good luck!
