Something around olympics

In 2008, China will hold the Olympic games in Beijing.
Now the whole country is on the track of 1-year countdown , no wonder millions of articles not only from china, but from foreign medias are talking about Beijing, about Olympics. So one thing they certainly don't want to ignore is whether over half million foreign travellers could eat safely.
One CNN reporter issitting by a restaurant table with various delicious foods on,   "花椒“ is a Carcinogenic hazard(致癌性危害)revealed by American FDA several years ago,he begin his comments in front of "水煮鱼“;"soy sauce“,he continues, could possibly be produced by the humanhair, which happened once in china , finally, even"tissue" for cleaning hands couldn't come away from his warning for some were made of recycling hospital wastes . is that really a prejudice or exaggerating ?
Really feel lucky for being a chinese who have got used to my chinese life already,
really feel sorry for those who perhaps already lost their minds of what are in china really safe, what are not.......

something around Olympics 2

Both international TV stations are sending the news to the whole world, Toymaker Mattel is recalling 9 million dollar toys from all store shelves in Usa because of the potential hazardous effects on children.
I am watching tv while murmuring "look, how Americandare do that? he is killing himself in the fastest way."
Then the reporter added "All those popular toys are manufactured by chinese factory......"
God, what does it mean? china is being murdered by those near-sighted snob!!!!
I suppose all those recalled Toys have better quality than others which are still laid out in China stores. what could we do ?

ps, A under construction Bridge in Hunan was collapsed, at least 28 people died.

Serious Problem

A 4-day traffic limit test was launched by goverment last week, Which was expected to be a effective method to improve the air quality ahead of next year's Olympic Games.
Nearly 1.3 million vehicles are banned off the road duringtrial. As Olympics draw near, the enviroment has paid increasing attention from both home and abroad. International Olympic Committee warned that events could be postponed if conditions were unhealthy, while some countries say their competitors will arrive in Beijing as late as possible to avoid exposure to pollution.
Neeless to say,air pollution required long term plan rather than short time fixes, We do hope that the big prograss will be made in the next 12 months in beijing. Furthermore, We do hope that 2008 Olympic Games will bring us to face and to solve this serious problem from now on.
